A new $2.54 million mixed-use building will be built at Grand Lake St. Marys State Park to replace two old and deteriorating structures that no longer meet operational or visitor needs.

Funding was approved by the Ohio Controlling Board from a state parks facilities fund, with Charles Construction Services of Findlay selected as the contractor

A pre-construction meeting is set for January, with groundbreaking expected in March and completion projected for April 2027
Once the new building opens, the existing facilities will be torn down and the sites restored
